Liz Harms is a queer poet and intersectional feminist originally from the Arkansas River Valley. She is the editor of Ninth Letter which is housed at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Liz’s full-length manuscript, OBJECT, was chosen by Juan Felipe Herrara as a finalist for the 2023 Philip Levine Prize for Poetry from Fresno State University. Her poetry was awarded an Honorable Mention by Tarfia Faizullah in Nimrod’s 2023 Pablo Neruda Prize. Liz’s work has been nominated for Best New Poets, Best of the Net, and a Pushcart Prize. Her poems appear or are forthcoming from Poetry Magazine, Prairie Schooner, Gulf Coast, The Journal, Arkansas International, The Normal School, Nimrod, Michigan Quarterly Review, Crab Creek Review, and elsewhere.
